We’re back with another edition of SB Nation Reacts, just in time for Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season. The Seattle Seahawks are 2-0 and just vanquished the New England Patriots in what should hold up as one of the best games of the year at season’s end, but the confidence in the team has actually dipped! What gives?

Now it’s not a big drop but it is from 98% to 95%.

I can only assume it has to do with the season-ending injuries to Marquise Blair and Bruce Irvin, coupled with the lackluster defensive performance, otherwise the response change does not make sense to me. For what it’s worth, the New England Patriots respondents dropped their confidence from 91% to 80%, which is also a surprise to me given Cam Newton must have exceeded their expectations. Maybe Russell Wilson undressing their normally stout defense had something to do with that.

As for our next opponents, the Dallas Cowboys have kept their confidence level at exactly 64% after an unbelievable 40-39 comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Let’s get to the national cards, starting with the question of which 2-0 team do fans around the NFL believe is the biggest fraud. The runaway top choice was the Chicago Bears, who may be 2-0 but needed to eke past the Detroit Lions and New York Giants in the final seconds. They probably should be 1-1 if not for a horrible drop by D’Andre Swift for what should’ve been a winning touchdown for the Lions.

As far as the best game of the week, Cowboys-Seahawks is an understandable runner-up to the awesome Monday Night Football showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. This time the game is in Baltimore and Lamar Jackson will hope that the third time is the charm and that he’ll be able to get the better of Patrick Mahomes.
