It may finally be over.
Nearly six months since Jadeveon Clowney became a free agent, he has reportedly chosen his next team. According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, Clowney is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans.

As Russini noted, Clowney will enter a defensive system familiar to him, having played under Mike Vrabel for three years with the Houston Texans. Now, the two are reunited on the Titans, after Tennessee appeared as a serious suitor from the beginning.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk added that the initial word on Clowney’s deal is $12 million for one year.

In recent days, the Titans and Saints emerged as the finalists for Clowney’s services, with a New Orleans coached rumored to have flown to Houston to have dinner with Clowney and recruit the defensive end.
Clowney exits Seattle following one season with the Seahawks. After being acquired by Seattle at the start of the regular season last year, Clowney had a strong season while registering three sacks and battling through a core injury. Injuries and money were reportedly sticking points in various negotiations with Clowney but it appears settled now.
Clowney is expected to head to Tennessee.
Update: Clowney has informed the Titans of his intention to sign with the team.
