Rams 30 Seahawks 20: Instant post-game reaction podcast on Seattle’s latest early playoff exit

Wild Card Round - Los Angeles Rams v Seattle Seahawks Photo by Steph Chambers/Getty Images

Well that sucked.

The Seattle Seahawks dropped a super turd on Super Wild Card Weekend and it ended up being 2004 all over again. Only the Los Angeles Rams have ever beaten Seattle at what we now know as Lumen Field in the NFL playoffs, and they’ve now done it twice. Sixteen years ago it was 27-20, this year it’s 30-20 and frankly Seattle was fortunate the score was even that close. Seattle was thoroughly beaten and the Rams outcoached and outplayed them in what was frankly a horrible game to watch if you were a neutral.

To recap this shitshow, I met up with former Field Gulls and current Turf Show Times managing editor Kenneth Arthur. We talk about Russell Wilson, the decline of the offense, praise the Rams defense, question Pete Carroll’s future, and more.

You can watch the video on the Seaside Joe YouTube channel or listen to the audio version. Also, sign up for Seaside Joe, a daily Seahawks newsletter that Kenneth has sent out for the last 678 consecutive days and counting, and support the channel so you can listen to three bonus Seahawks podcasts per week.
