The Seattle Seahawks announced today the return of two players who have respectively spent the entire season and nearly the entire season on injured reserve.
Fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma, cornerback Tre Brown will be available for the team’s game against the PIttsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. In addition, 2017 second round pick Ethan Pocic also returns from injured reserve to the 53 man roster. Pocic has not played since he injured his knee in the Week 1 victory over the the Indianapolis Colts.
Unfortunately, to make room for Brown and Pocic on the roster, the Seahawks moved a pair of their offensive stars to injured reserve.

So, it’s to injured reserve for both Russell Wilson and Chris Carson, both of whom will be out until after the Week 9 bye. For Wilson the trip to injured reserve is due to the pair of finger injuries suffered against the Los Angeles Rams, while for Carson it’s a neck injury that kept him out of the Week 5 loss to Los Angeles.
