Things haven’t gone according to plan for the Seattle Seahawks (2-3). As things stand, Russell Wilson, Chris Carson, and Dee Eskridge are all on injured reserve, and the team is tied for last in the NFC West with the San Francisco 49ers.
After a mini-bye week (which felt needed after a disastrous Thursday loss to the Los Angeles Rams), the team returns to action against the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-3) on Sunday Night Football. Ben Roethlisberger had his best game of the season and ended Pittsburgh’s three-game losing skid with a win over the Denver Broncos. The Seahawks will be starting Geno Smith, whose last start for any team was in 2018. Consider this Smith’s big (and last) opportunity to show he should be a starter in the NFL, and he’ll be tasked with helping to steer Seattle’s season back on course.
For the struggling Seahawks defense, they’ll be fortunate to come up against a Steelers offense that has been inconsistent at best, but they still have talented receivers Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool, as well as rookie running back Najee Harris.
Here are all the details you need on Sunday night’s matchup, including broadcast information, live streaming options, radio commentary, and more:
