Despite exiting Sunday night’s loss with a couple of injuries, Seattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins returned to practice Thursday.

Collins left the Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with hip/glute injuries, but he appears to be trending in the right direction towards playing on Monday night when the New Orleans Saints visit Seattle.
If he can return to action, he will likely share the workload with Rashaad Penny who is expected to be back from injured reserve in time for Monday night’s game against the Saints. Mixed in with Geno Smith making his second straight start under center and some less than ideal football weather, the ground attack could be heavily featured at Lumen Field for Seattle’s seventh game of the season.
80 percent chance of rain and 49 degrees predicted for Seattle Monday night as the Saints come marching in.
