The Seattle Seahawks (2-4) are back at home for the rest of the month, and they really have to win both. First up on the slate is a Monday Night Football showdown with the New Orleans Saints (3-2), who are fresh off a bye week and preceding that a win over the hapless Washington Football Team.
Seattle is coming off a difficult overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, in which Geno Smith’s only turnover proved to come at the worst possible time and at virtually the worst possible part of the field. Russell Wilson may be making progress towards returning from his injured finger, but it’s Geno time for at least the next two games.
New Orleans is experiencing life without Drew Brees for the first time since 2005, and at the moment Jameis Winston has produced 12 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions, but the Saints offense is alongside the Seahawks in terms of 3-and-outs. Their defense is among the NFL’s best and will pose a tough test for Seattle’s banged up offense, but will Seattle’s defense show that last week’s game against the Steelers wasn’t just a case of playing a very limited offense? We’ll see. The Saints may not have Michael Thomas or Taysom Hill, but Alvin Kamara can beat you as a rusher and receiver.
Here are all the details you need on what should be a rainy Monday night’s matchup, including broadcast information, live streaming options, radio commentary, and more:
