Marquise Blair could unfortunately miss a substantial amount of time again.
The third-year defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks was injured on a play that earned him offensive pass interference against the New Orleans Saints.
However, Blair has once again done damage to his knee, and it doesn’t sound good.
Carroll says Marquise Blair suffered a patella tendon injury. Called it “significant.”

Pete Carroll said after the game that Blair has something going on with his patella tendon, and that he’s not sure exactly what it is but it’s significant.
If nothing else, it’s significant because it’s the same right knee that he blew out last season in Week 2 of 2020.
Blair had not seen the field as much as some had thought he might this year, battling it out with Ugo Amadi nearly every week. Once billed as the hardest hitter on the team, what little we’ve seen of that skill was used to level Jameis Winston for a roughing the passer penalty on Monday.
With the emergence of Amadi and Ryan Neal, this may not be as big a blow for the defense as it is for the draft pick itself and for the mentality and recovery of Marquise Blair. This has been a very painful start to his promising NFL career.
