The Jacksonville Jaguars will head to Seattle to face the Seahawks in a Week 8 matchup that was hoped to be a better matchup before the season started. However, things have gone south for both teams. Ironically enough for the Jaguars, part of that was head coach Urban Meyer literally not going south with his team and staying for a rowdy weekend in Ohio. As for Seattle, Russell Wilson's finger injury has really held them back and so they will welcome the 1-5 Jaguars off of a bye into Seattle as they sit at 2-5 before their bye week. Both teams sit tied for second to last in their respective conferences.
Odds (Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
The Seahawks are a -3.5 point favorite and can be bet on at -105. Obviously, this number would be a lot higher if it were not for Russell Wilson being on the IR and I would be curious to see how far back you would have to look to find the last time that a 1-win team towards the end of October/early November, rolled into Seattle being just a 3.5 point underdog.
DraftKings also has the Total for the game listed at 43.5. The Seahawks and Jaguars have gone over that total 8 times this season in 13 total games with even odds both ways (-110).
As for the money line, it sits at -180 for the Seahawks and +155 for the visiting Jaguars.
Weather Forecast
Sunny, high of 55 degrees.
All-Time Matchup History
The Seahawks are 5-3 against the Jaguars but lost their last meeting back in 2017 in Jacksonville by a score of 30-24. Seattle has never lost at home to Jacksonville in three previously matchups, including a 45-17 romp in the Super Bowl winning 2013 season.

Final notes
Good luck trying to make any sense of this matchup as there are many non-traditional things at play. On one hand, the Seahawks come into this one losing their franchise QB to injury for the first time in his career, and they have dropped three games in a row for the first time since Russell Wilson was drafted. However, on the other, the Jaguars will head to the West Coast as an East Coast team which is something bettors love to look for, and they are also coming off of a weekend in London where they won their first game.
