Sunday the Seattle Seahawks host the Jacksonville Jaguars in the late afternoon time slot of Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season with the Hawks looking to head in to the bye week on a positive note. Having started the season 2-5 amid significant injuries to Russell Wilson and Chris Carson, Seattle finds itself in an unfamiliar position and at risk of falling out of playoff contention if they are unable to right the ship.

When they take the field against Jacksonville, they will be without Carson and Wilson, both of whom are eligible to return after the bye week. In addition, rookie wide receiver Dee Eskridge is slated to return after the bye, which could also be a boost to an offense that has struggled at times under new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

However, of the inactives for the Week 8 matchup against the Jaguars, only Marquise Blair has played a significant amount for the Hawks so far this season.

So, the full list of inactives is:

  • TE Tyler Mabry
  • C Dakoda Sheply
  • T Stone Forsythe
  • DE L.J. Collier
  • CB Bless Austin
  • NCB Marquise Blair
