In Week 4 the Seattle Seahawks defeated the San Francisco 49ers to move out of the basement of the NFC West. It wasn’t always pretty, with the defense still struggling early and with a communications breakdown in the secondary making the game closer than it likely should have been. That said, the ‘Hawks defeated the division rival Niners without the services of tight end Gerald Everett, who had been signed in free agency in the spring to add to the arsenal of weapons at the disposal of Russell Wilson.
With Everett’s former team, the Los Angeles Rams, on the schedule for Thursday Night Football, there was hope we’d see a revenge game provided he could get off the reserve/COVID-19 list he was placed on last week. Unfortunately, Everett has not been activated from the COVID list and is out for the second straight game.
Seahawks’ TE Gerald Everett, who is on the reserve/COVID-19 list, was not activated off it and is out for tonight’s game vs. the Rams.

Presumably this means he did not have the final negative test required to play in this game. Will Dissly, Colby Parkinson, and Tyler Mabry will be the trio for this evening.
We’ll know a little closer to game time whether or not the Seahawks will also be without running back Chris Carson, who was questionable with a neck injury.
