Report: Seahawks ‘not happy’ with Russell Wilson’s comments on Dan Patrick Show

To the surprise of no one, the Seattle Seahawks front office is apparently displeased with the comments that Russell Wilson made on his recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show. This is according to a report by Dan Patrick, who says that his source with the Seahawks told him, “Seahawks’ management is not happy with Russell Wilson and his camp for taking this to the media.”

The real bombshell of the report is that Patrick also said that his source told him, “The current situation is not sustainable” and Dan said he wonders if the two will be able to co-exist.

This is also quite obvious as the current situation has to have an end result of either the Seahawks announcing full control, likely meaning Russ could be out the door, or that Seattle will give Russ what he wants and will let him have more say in decisions and free agency, similar to the control of Tom Brady and LeBron James as Wilson mentioned on the show.

While we might not hear about the internal discussions, we’ll know soon how they went as Free Agency and the NFL Draft are coming up. If Wilson got his say, expect some big money and early picks spent on offensive lineman.
