Less than a month remains until the 2021 NFL league year is set to begin, meaning free agency is right around the corner. For fans that means the ability to begin to get excited about the players that could be added to the roster, while at the same time fretting about those key players who could leave. For the Seattle Seahawks a half dozen members of the 2020 roster made the PFF list of the top 151 free agents, laying the groundwork for what is shaping up to be an interesting offseason.

Without wasting time, here are the six Seahawks PFF rates as the most attractive when it comes to free agency.

  • CB Shaquill Griffin (37)
  • CB Quinton Dunbar (53)
  • RB Chris Carson (58)
  • LB K.J. Wright (66)
  • RB Carlos Hyde (121)
  • WR David Moore (123)

It’s likely no surprise for many Seattle fans that some players, including offensive linemen Mike Iupati and Cedric Ogbuehi, failed to make the list. However, the omission of guys like Ethan Pocic, Benson Mayowa and Jacob Hollister will likely ruffle a few feathers with fans of those particular players.

In any case, the offseason is setting up to once again be long and largely quite outside of the free agency and draft hot spots, with it appearing likely that the majority of the offseason will, yet again, be held virtually. However, Field Gulls will be here to keep fans updated, and Monday marks just four weeks until the start of the legal tampering period.
