The Seattle Seahawks answered one of the big questions they were set to face this offseason earlier in the week when they agreed to terms on a one year contract with tight end Gerald Everett. Everett, of course, comes from the Los Angeles Rams where his familiarity with the Rams offensive system should help the Seahawks transition to a third offensive system in five seasons under new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

The arrival of Everett, with Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson still on rookie contracts, hinted that Jacob Hollister’s stay in Seattle had likely come to a conclusion. Friday, reports indicate that is indeed the case.

In terms of familiarity, Hollister played his college football for the Wyoming Cowboys, where he was teammates with Bills quarterback Josh Allen. In any case, Hollister appears set to return to the AFC East, a division in which he spent two seasons while playing for the New England Patriots earlier in his career.
