According to multiple reports, the Seattle Seahawks and edge rusher Benson Mayowa have agreed on a contract, bringing Mayowa back to Seattle on his third contract with the team. Brady Henderson, ESPN’s Seahawks beat reporter, is also reporting that the contract for Mayowa is a two-year deal.
I’m told the Seahawks are bringing back DE Benson Mayowa on a two-year deal.

While Mayowa’s agency, DEC Management, has confirmed that he is returning to Seattle, there has been no confirmation and I believe that Henderson is the only one reporting that it is a two-year deal.
Mayowa returns to Seattle after a successful second season with the team, which were unconventionally seven years apart. Last year Mayowa played in 13 games, forcing two fumbles, while recording 24 tackles, 7 tackles for a loss, and 9 QB hits. He had six sacks on the year, which put him at third on the team behind Jamal Adams and Jarran Reed, and the most by any of the teams multiple defensive ends.
