It’s been an extremely busy week for the Seattle Seahawks in making moves on the defensive line. The week started with the team adding Benson Mayowa and Kerry Hyder before reports emerged Thursday that the team would be moving on from Jarran Reed while bringing back Carlos Dunlap. Late Friday, news emerged that the Seahawks had agreed to make yet another addition on the defensive line, this time bringing back yet another familiar name.

Al Woods last played for the Seahawks in 2019, though he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the spring of 2020 prior to opting out of the 2020 season for COVID reasons. Woods turned 34 on Thursday and has bounced around the NFL since being a fourth round pick out of LSU in 2010. In his time in the league he has been with the New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts.
