Monday the Seattle Seahawks shocked many of their fans when they made the move to release defensive end Carlos Dunlap after having acquired the two time Pro Bowler at the trade deadline from the Cincinnati Bengals last fall. The move created much needed cap space for the team, while at the same time potentially creating a significant need at edge for the Hawks.
Across the league teams are making moves in order to come into compliance with the reduced cap for 2021, or making moves to position themselves for success going forward. This will be a centralized resource for tracking these cuts and other moves, so be sure to check back with Field Gulls regularly for the latest.
