It’s a double shirt week here on Field Gulls!

Our partners at BreakingT recently updated a shirt that was sold last season but now it’s relevant again thanks to major news from earlier in the week.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett just agreed to a four-year, $69.2 million contract extension that has no void years, so it’s the whole four years and he’s under contract through 2025. In 2018 he had a historically efficient year, and in each of the past two seasons he’s eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving. His outstanding 2020 saw him become the first Seahawks player to ever reach 100 receptions in a single season, and quite often he found ways to get wide open behind the secondary.... like this.

Without further ado, here’s the modified “Throw it to The Rocket” Tyler Lockett shirt!

The key differences are Lockett’s name being in there instead of “Seattle” and also you even get his signature next to that football that’s launched right past the Seattle Space Needle.

You may argue Ricardo Lockette was the real rocket just on his special teams excellence but Tyler’s speed was scary pre-leg break and he’s still fast enough to gain consistent separation against cornerbacks.
