It’s been a long offseason for fans of the Seattle Seahawks. After having watched the division rival Los Angeles Rams defeat the Hawks at home in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, Seattle fans then had to wait through not just a combine-less February, but also deal with the drama of the Russell Wilson trade demand that wasn’t really a trade demand before free agency. Then came the release and then resigning of Carlos Dunlap, along with the retention of several key free agents, including Ethan Pocic and Chris Carson, while also adding Gabe Jackson in trade.

And now comes the moment fans have waited for since January: the Seahawks have used pick 56 overall in the 2021 NFL draft to add wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge out of Western Michigan.

Eskridge is a 5’9”, 190 receiver who ran a 4.40 40 at his pro day after accumulating over 2,000 receiving yards during his career at Western Michigan.
