According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Seattle Seahawks are interested in free agent wide receiver Marquise Goodwin. As quoted by Bleacher report, Fowler said, “I’m told they’re looking around for potential No. 3 receiver help behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, who just signed a massive extension. One name to watch is Marquise Goodwin, the speedster, he’s got that world-class speed. He is now a free agent. I’m told they’ve at least put a feeler out in that area.”
Fowler then also mentions that the Seahawks had interest in Willie Snead, who signed with the Raiders, and Sammy Watkins, who signed with the Ravens. Fowler said (Again quoted by Bleacher Report), “They looked at Willie Snead and Sammy Watkins before they signed in free agency, so they want to flesh out pass-catching options for Russell Wilson.”
Fowler also mentions Wilson’s interest in Antonio Brown which has been heavily publicized, but this appears to be the first report linking Goodwin to the Hawks. So, it is quite clear that the Seahawks are not done yet this offseason, as they continue to look to fill more of their needs, like one more wide receiver.
