It’s Day 3 of the 2021 NFL Draft, and while Pete Carroll and John Schneider entered the day holding just two picks, they were able to add a sixth round pick by trading down from 4.129 to 4.137 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team addressed the third wide receiver spot on Day 2 Friday, selecting D’Wayne Eskridge out of Western Michigan with the 56th overall selection. With that spot having been tended to, the team then turned Saturday to the ZZZ position, grabbing cornerback Tre Brown of Oklahoma with the 137th overall selection.

The next pick the Seahawks are scheduled to make is the 217th overall selection, the first comp pick of the sixth round, and then are set to close out the day with pick 250 in the seventh round. Whether that will be a sufficient number of picks for them or not will remain to be seen, or if the team might trade a future sixth round pick to another team to come back into the seventh round, just as they have done in each of the past two seasons.
