The Seattle Seahawks have released their offseason workout schedule through mandatory minicamp, per ESPN’s Brady Henderson. The Rookie Minicamp will take place next weekend (May 14-16), while OTAs are planned for late May and early June. Mandatory minicamp will take place June 15-17.
The Seahawks' offseason workout dates:
— Brady Henderson (@BradyHenderson) May 6, 2021
Rookie minicamp: May 14-16
OTAs: May 24, 26-27, June 1, 3-4, 7-10
Mandatory minicamp: June 15-17
Seahawks vets have already said the won't take part in voluntary on-field work or OTAs. Unclear what that will mean for rookie minicamp.
Last month, members of the team signed a statement in which they announced they would be exercising their CBA right to keep voluntary in-person workouts in a virtual format, just as they were in 2020. As Henderson noted, it’s not yet known whether or not the new Seahawks draft class and UDFA signings will be at VMAC next Friday.
July-August training camp dates have not yet been announced and it’s also unknown whether or not there will be fans attending at VMAC, which for obvious reasons was not the case last season.
Next Wednesday, the Seahawks’ preseason and regular season schedule will be unveiled, which figures to be a fair bit more exciting set of dates to announce than the offseason workouts,
