The Seattle Seahawks need some tight end depth with Colby Parkinson and Tyler Mabry both dealing with foot injuries. Dom Wood-Anderson’s preseason struggles got him cut from the roster, so a replacement is needed. Someone who, perhaps, knows a thing or two about VMAC, Lumen Field, and has long hair?
Where’s the Luke Willson signal?! Oh, there it is!

No seriously, there it is!
The Seahawks have a scheduled visit this week with TE Luke Willson, I’m told. Seattle is down a few TEs with Colby Parkinson and Tyler Mabry dealing with foot injuries.

Willson was drafted by the Seahawks back in 2013 and has been a fan favorite and popular player within the locker room. If he is signed this would be his fourth stint with the team, having previously played from 2013-2017, then from 2019-2020, and then brought back at the end of the 2020 season following the briefest of stops in Baltimore.
It seems pretty logical to bring on a familiar face if even just as an injury replacement while Parkinson and Mabry recover. The real question is whether or not he’ll be signed in time for Techno Thursday to be revived.
