It’s official!
The Seattle Seahawks have signed long time friendly-face, favored Canadian, and all-around good dude Luke Willson. He’s also a tight end.
Luke Willson has officially signed and is expected to practice today for #Seahawks.

Seattle’s hoped-for third and fourth options at tight end have been unable to go, as Tyler Mabry and Colby Parkinson remain sidelined. It remains true that the front office does not have enough hope in Will Dissly’s health to leave him as the only TE behind Gerald Everett.
Willson indicated earlier Tuesday morning that something was in the mix, posting another cryptic message, similar to last time he came back to the Seahawks.

This makes it the fourth time Luke Willson has joined Seattle, a truly remarkable accomplishment, maybe one of the best of his career. He was drafted by them in 2013, signed a one-year deal in 2019, and then came over halfway through the 2020 season.
Details have not yet emerged on the contract, but expect one year, and expect Willson to be plenty available to media, making guys laugh.
So just like that, the hero emerges from hiding to lead the good guys to victory. All hail techno Thursdays!
