Two Seahawks players who we know like to have a laugh are Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf. Despite their somewhat dissimilar personalities, the two have often been seen cracking jokes to one another or to the media at press conferences.
This week, we heard from both Metcalf and Lockett on who they thought the funniest Seahawks might be, and their answers may shock you.
Metcalf went first on Monday, immediately offering up Freddie Swain and Nick Bellore as answers before adding in Quandre Diggs, Ugo Amadi, and himself to round out his top five. For me, Bellore was a pretty shocking choice. Of course, I know very little about his personality, but I never would have picked a player who has a role as hard-nosed and vicious as lead blocking as being a jokester.

On Friday, Lockett said Bellore was one of his funniest teammates, too, right off the bat, before adding Swain, Quandre, and himself to the mix. At the insistence of Metcalf (who was posing as a reporter in the crowd and had already asked Lockett a question earlier in the press conference), Lockett added #14 to finish his top five.

This is a question I would love to see asked of players and coaches alike future press conferences. Who cares about how the implementation of the new offense is going? We need to hear more about how Nick Bellore has everyone cracking up in offensive meetings (and, as both Metcalf and Lockett insisted, not on the field).
