The Seattle Seahawks have officially announced their practice squad signings on Wednesday, but they did not reach capacity just yet. Of the 16 allotted spots, Seattle filled 14 of them and technically it’s 13 because German linebacker Aaron Donkor gets the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program exemption.
Here’s the list:
DT Myles Adams
LB Aaron Donkor
G Greg Eiland
WR Aaron Fuller
WR Penny Hart
DT Jarrod Hewitt
WR Cade Johnson
RB Josh Johnson
G Pier-Olivier Lestage
TE Tyler Mabry
DT Robert Nkemdiche
CB John Reid
LB Jon Rhattigan
WR Cody Thompson
So several of Seattle’s wide receivers who were cut on Tuesday are on the practice squad, including UDFA rookie Cade Johnson and surprise roster cut Penny Hart. A notable absence from this list (for the time being) is cornerback Gavin Heslop, who was one of the better preseason performers and had been projected with a chance to make the 53-man roster.
Again, there are still three vacant spots on the practice squad and many more moves that will surely be made over the next several days, but this is what the Seahawks have right now.
