The Seattle Seahawks need a cornerback (or two, depending on who one asks) a position which quite clearly looks like the biggest need for the team at the present moment. Some Hawks fans had proposed trading for former top 10 pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, C.J. Henderson, Ian Rapaport is reporting that Henderson will be heading elsewhere.
Trade! The #Panthers are closing in on a trade for CB CJ Henderson, sources say.

The details: CAR TE Dan Arnold and a third-round pick to the #Jaguars for the former Jax first-round pick Henderson and a fifth-rounder. Immediate help in Carolina, while Henderson starts new.
The Jaguars, who signed former Seahawk Shaquill Griffin this offseason to pair with Henderson, are now continuing their tank by sending Griffin’s counterpart to the Carolina Panthers for TE Dan Arnold and a third-round pick. Henderson was the Jaguars' 2020 first-round pick and has so far been underwhelming.
Is this a trade the Seahawks shoulda or coulda made? Well, Henderson has some similarities to Sidney Jones IV who Seattle acquired this offseason, as they have both underperformed as former early-round picks. But, Henderson definitely would not have been the solution to the Seahawks' extreme cornerback woes the last two weeks.
Seahawks fans are calling for help at corner, and it will be interesting to see if John and Pete get involved in any potential wheeling and dealing in the coming weeks building up to the November 2 trade deadline.
