Fans of the Seattle Seahawks have watched in agony for much of the month of September as opposing quarterbacks and receivers have shredded the team’s secondary. The on field performance of the group has been a far cry from the glory days of the Legion of Boom, when opposing offenses were left gasping for air under the suffocating coverage and a menacing pass rush.

The on field performance became so poor from the Seattle secondary that cries from fans for a reunion with three time All Pro cornerback Richard Sherman for much of the offseason have become louder and louder.

Unfortunately for Seahawks fans, that is no longer an option as of Wednesday morning.

In kicking off his own podcast, Sherman makes a significant announcement regarding his future, specifically where exactly he is signing in order to make the return that brings him back.

So, as Tom Brady and Bruce Arians team up for what they hope is another Super Bowl run, they’ve added a significant piece to a defense for Todd Bowles, and this is just another addition for a team that was already loaded with star power on both sides of the ball.
