Hey, more roster news!
The Seattle Seahawks let go of Jordan Simmons on Tuesday in final roster cuts, shortly followed by fellow guard Phil Haynes later in the week. Haynes was signed to the practice squad, and it looks like Simmons will follow suit.
The Seahawks plan to sign G Jordan Simmons to their practice squad.

Simmons has been a reserve guard and occasional starter. Injuries were a problem for him in college and continued into the NFL, which is why he missed the end of 2018 and the entire 2019 season. He saw considerable playing time in 2020 as a result of Mike Iupati’s injury woes.
Now as of this article’s publish time the Seahawks already filled out their practice squad, so someone has to go. Here’s the current Seahawks practice squad sans Simmons until we get a report of which player the Seahawks will release.
