The wait is over.
The seasons are longer, starting this year.
Tonight is the first of 285 NFL games to be played from now until February 13th, 2022.
It’s the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Dallas Cowboys, who will have Dak Prescott back for the first time since his horrific ankle break last season.
Tampa Bay brought everyone back from last season and are among the favorites to repeat and land Tom Brady a whopping eighth Super Bowl. The Cowboys have Dan Quinn as their defensive coordinator and given how poor they were last year, the only way is up for the quality of this defense.
NBC has the kickoff at 8:20 PM ET/5:20 PM PT from Raymond James Stadium.
