The Seattle Seahawks have had spurts of success against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday afternoon in a critical Week 14 game that they absolutely needed to win, but it simply wasn’t enough.

Backup quarterback Drew Lock exceeded the expectations of fans and observers alike playing in place of the injured Geno Smith, but at the end of the day it was a late game interception from Lock that led to a scuffle between the two squads and a pair of ejections.

So much happened on the play, but long story short is Fred Warner came down with a late interception, and after lateraling the ball to Dre Greenlaw, Warner was suplexed by DK Metcalf. Warner than went after Metcalf while Metcalf was on the ground, and Metcalf then retaliated by grabbing Warner’s facemask.

Subsequent to all of that, 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir came in and took a cheap shot at Metcalf.

That lead to the benches clearing and players from both sides fighting on the field of play. When everything had been cleared up, Metcalf and Lenoir were both ejected, and it’s likely that next weekend both will be receiving notifications from the league regarding fines that have been levied.
