The Seattle Seahawks had their penultimate practice of the 2023 NFL regular season, and the “Did Not Practice” list increased from seven players to eight.
Starting linebacker Jordyn Brooks was a limited participant on Wednesday, but he didn’t practice on Thursday. Brooks sprained his ankle against the Tennessee Titans in Week 16 and did not play in the Week 17 loss versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Devin Bush will start again if Brooks can’t go.
Phil Haynes and Leonard Williams also joined the DNP list, although in Williams’ case it might be maintenance given he hasn’t had a bye week this season. Haynes is designated for return from injured reserve and is allowed to practice without counting toward the 53-man roster.
Abraham Lucas, Jason Peters, Nick Bellore, Mario Edwards Jr, and Jarran Reed were the five players who’ve yet to practice this week. It doesn’t seem like that Lucas or Peters will play, whereas the other three are unknown.
The good news is that Kenneth Walker III and Evan Brown did practice, so their respective statues for Sunday’s regular season finale against the Arizona Cardinals look promising.
