The final day of the 2023 NFL regular season is here. Will it be the final game of the Seattle Seahawks’ season?

Seattle sits at 8-8 after a disappointing home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The loss puts them out of a playoff spot and in need of outside help in order to get to the postseason. In the simplest terms, the Seahawks must beat the Arizona Cardinals (4-12) on the road, and get a Chicago Bears win (or tie) against the Green Bay Packers to snag the last Wild Card spot. It is essentially the same situation as last year, except the kickoffs will be simultaneous for Seahawks-Cardinals and Bears-Packers.

The Seahawks only have themselves to blame for this predicament. They had their fate in their hands and instantly gave it up. Now they take on a Cardinals team that just shocked the Philadelphia Eagles on the road, and have a better record over the last seven weeks than Seattle. There’s nothing the Seahawks can do now about what happens in Green Bay, so the only thing they can control is getting a Week 18 win.
