The Seahawks struggling run defense will be without two key members of the defensive line against the Cardinals Sunday afternoon.

It’s Week 18 and the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals are set to play their regular season finale at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Seahawks will be playing with hopes of making the postseason, but that will require a win and an upset of the Green Bay Packers by the Chicago Bears. Whether or not the Hawks make the postseason, there were no surprises Sunday when the inactives were announced.

It was announced on Friday that Mario Edwards and Abe Lucas would miss the game, however, there was some hope that Jarran Reed might be able to go and was given a questionable designation as a gametime decision. However, with Reed unable to go the team will likely turn to nose tackles Matt Gotel and Austin Faoliu, both of whom were elevated from the practice squad Saturday ahead of this divisional tilt.

So, the full list of inactives is:

  • RB Kenny McIntosh
  • OL Abe Lucas
  • OL Jason Peters
  • OL Raiqwon O’Neal
  • DL Mario Edwards
  • DL Jarran Reed
  • LB Patrick O’Connell
