The injury woes continue to mount for the Seattle Seahawks as they take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 18, and tight end Noah Fant has now been downgraded to out following the previous designation of “questionable” with a hand injury.

On the team’s second drive of the afternoon, he left the game and was seen being evaluated on the sideline. The injury appeared to be to an extremity, and this was confirmed by the official team PR social media account. At this point, his return is officially listed as questionable.

The Seahawks have some depth at the position, as Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson are both veterans with plenty of experience and playing time, and the team has Brady Russell as well. Brady Russell was an undrafted free agent out of Colorado who also spent time on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad before being signed to the Seahawks active roster in September. We are awaiting further word on whether or not Fant will make it back this afternoon.

UPDATE:

Fant has been downgraded to OUT and will not return against the Cardinals.
