Draft Grades for Top 10 by Position - Defensive Ends | The Sideline View
The upside on Ezekial Ansah is staggering. He still has room for more weight on his frame and you can see the raw athleticism and power in his game. He's a prospect who I expect to really take off by year two or three. The fact that he can strong-side DE in the 4-3 or 3-4 DE makes him even more valuable. He can fit in ANY system.
2013 NFL Draft: What We Learned from March's Pro Days
While the amount that we can actually learn from a pro day work out is limited, they're still a key part of the evaluation process and they shouldn't be taken too lightly. These workouts can be crucial, especially for those who either weren't able to work out at the Combine and who did and put up a poor showing.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers mid-90s teams were bad, but built a successful GM tree - NFL - Don Banks - SI.com
As the 2013 NFL Draft looms less than four weeks away, first-year New York Jets general manager John Idzik likely feels the heat of the spotlight on him as much or more so than any club executive in the league. As a rookie GM in the NFL's biggest media market, with the tenuous and tricky Darrelle Revis trade talks to navigate amid the backdrop of a franchise approaching what appears to be a crossroads season for its head coach and starting quarterback, Idzik can ill afford any glaring missteps when it comes to New York's precious draft picks.
Players Of Intrigue - Evaluations - Rotoworld.com
This April's draft has many prospects that I find very intriguing in terms of how they fit teams, schemes and what kind of talent they offer overall.
Jonathan Banks " Seahawks Draft Blog
Once considered among the best corners in the 2013 draft, Jonathan Banks’ draft stock might be in trouble after clocking a 4.61 in the forty at the combine. Consider that just three other corners ran in the 4.6s, and of those three only Cal’s Marc Anthony is expected to be drafted (in the 7th round). General managers tend to have a "cutoff point" system, which is part of the reason the Seahawks got Russell Wilson in the 3rd round last year. You’d have to think that cutoff point for corner speed would be faster than a 4.61.
Eight in the Box: WR status check - NFC West Blog - ESPN
Seattle Seahawks: The addition of Percy Harvin changed the outlook for the position quite a bit. He and Sidney Rice appear to be the top two receivers, but Golden Tate is gaining momentum heading into his contract year. Rice and Tate each caught seven touchdown passes last season. Both averaged 15-plus yards per reception. Doug Baldwin needs improved health to factor as a slot receiver. Even then, opportunities could be scarce. The team thinks Phil Bates and former Cardinals receiver Stephen Williams have the potential to become contributors. Bryan Walters, Charly Martin and Jermaine Kearse are the other receivers on the roster. Drafting for the position would help for long-term planning given Tate's contract situation. Also, injuries have limited Harvin, Rice and Baldwin at times in recent seasons. Rice did stay healthy last season, however.
Under the Radar Free Agent Signings That Will Make the Biggest Impact | Bleacher Report
Rightfully so, fans spend a majority of the offseason salivating over the draft and the first wave of free agents signed. However, championships aren't won by spending big in free agency, just ask the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles.
7 Round Seattle Seahawks Mock Draft - 12th Man Rising - A Seattle Seahawks Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.
Normally during this time of the offseason, you’d be seeing mock drafts aplenty here on 12th Man Rising, as well as analysis of other mock draft from around the web. There’s a problem though, the Seahawks don’t have a first round pick. That means the Seattle isn’t a participant in most of those mocks.
Six NFL teams that upgraded positions of need - NFL.com
Seattle Seahawks, defensive end Chris Wesseling believes the Seahawks sport the most talented roster in football. Agreed. Seattle didn't have many holes to fill, but one area of concern was its pass rush, on the heels of Chris Clemons tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in January. General manager John Schneider addressed that need with the free-agent additions of Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett. With Bennett signed for one year at $4.8 million and Avril for two years at $13 million, the Seahawks' defense is an unruly beast.

Seattle Seahawks will be 'headache for defenses' - NFL.com
The Seattle Seahawks say they aren't worried about what wide receiver Percy Harvin is like off the field. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell worked closely with Harvin in Minnesota and had zero problems. Bevell's bigger challenge: Maximizing Harvin's unique skill set.

2013 NFL Draft: First-round trades you may see | Audibles - SI.com
During the run-up to the 2012 draft, much of the attention centered on the No. 2 overall pick. The Rams dangled that selection for the rest of the league, with Robert Griffin III as the bait, before the Redskins dealt away three first-round picks and a second-rounder to claim it.
NFL teams working feverishly to solve the Margus Hunt mystery | Audibles - SI.com
"No, no," Hunt responds, with a slight chuckle, explaining that by "outside," he is referring to a defensive end spot. The notion of being a rush-linebacker in a 3-4 is so far off Hunt’s radar that the mere suggestion is borderline ludicrous.
Thought Experiment: How many wins would this team average?
