Seahawks/49ers chat with Niners Nation

Playing nice with the enemy, just this once.

"Nooooooo yooouuuuuu wooooonnnn't!"
"Nooooooo yooouuuuuu wooooonnnn't!"
Kevin C. Cox

The Seahawks and 49ers are rated by many people as the two best teams in the NFL. This debate has been ongoing since the second half of the 2012 season when Seattle was running car ramrod on a bunch of foolish ass fools before a heartbreaking loss to the Falcons in the playoffs. Had it not been for that, we would've had an earlier version of the Seahawks/Niners conference title game and who knows what would have happened.

Pete Carroll may not think of these two teams as heated rivals, but the fact of the matter is that it's stepped to the forefront of NFL rivalries over the last two years. You've got two of the best teams in the league sharing a division, and that always creates drama necessary for a good showdown twice or thrice a year.

Without further ado, tonight's hangout guest is David Fucillo from Niners Nation. We'll discuss contract situations, roster statuses, and what could be expected in 2014. Back again is Rob Staton from Seahawks Draft Blog, from the BBC, from London.

We'd like to welcome everyone from Niners Nation and encourage using the comment system on this site as well as submitting questions through the Hangout app. But remember: Play nice.

I'm trying to be as PC (Pete Carroll) as possible here: We ain't rivals, we just got two really fucking good teams.
