Just a few news items that I haven't officially addressed here outside of the Coffee & Cigs links:
1) Breno Giacomini had a scope of his knee to clean up some stuff in there (in what I imagine is Pete Carroll parlance for the injury) and he'll have an indefinite amount of recovery time to deal with. I'm no doctor, but I would surmise that it's unlikely Breno will be back this week against the Colts. In his place, rookie RT Michael Bowie will likely get the start.
2) Michael Bennett is reportedly going to return to practice this week, and Carroll had it in mind that they'd try and see if he could play on Sunday. Said Carroll, "He went from where he was to he was feeling pretty good today. So we're excited about that for him. He was really scared. They had him in all of the alerts and didn't know what was going on. But, I just checked him before I came in, he's going to go this week and we'll see how much he can work with the thought that he can go this week." This is big news - Bennett has been really impressive early on this year both on the inside and on the outside, and per PFF's charting, has 20 "QB Disruptions", which is 2nd best in the NFL.
