The Seahawks continued to rake in the hardware on Wednesday night at the ESPYs, winning a pair of awards. Richard Sherman won Best Breakthrough Athlete and (to my surprise to be honest), the Seahawks won Best Team. I only say I'm surprised because I thought the Spurs domination in the NBA playoffs for two months would win them the award.
Sherman accepted the award from Cameron Diaz and gave a shoutout to his Legion of Boom comrades. Sherman beat out Nick Foles, Masahiro Tanaka and Damian Lillard. This past season, Sherman led the league with eight interceptions, matching his total from 2012.

Sherman's speech was quick, simple and low-key. Very un-Sherman-like actually. But the best moment of the speech was when the camera cut to Collin Kaepernick.

That's the look of defeat and utter disgust. It's also the look of a quarterback once again facing the man that crushed his hopes and dreams in a single moment.
The Seahawks also took home the award for Best Team, beating out the Red Sox, Spurs, LA Kings, Florida State Seminoles football team and the UConn women's basketball team. Seattle's 43-8 blowout over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII was the third-biggest margin of victory in Super Bowl history. It was also the most lopsided win by an underdog in history, a mark previously set by the '87 Redskins when they defeated, oh boy...the Broncos....42-10 in Super Bowl XXII. Man, these guys really should try being the underdogs next time.
The voters have spoken ... The Super Bowl champion @Seahawks are this year's #ESPYS BEST TEAM! pic.twitter.com/lZN2bXJKMQ

There were also some great moments off the stage that are worth noting. Let's start with the fact that former Seahawk Walter Thurmond showed up missing half of his pants.

Russell Wilson also made every guy in America jealous by standing next to Jessica Alba on stage.

He also snagged a picture with her dad. Oh my god start the Russell Wilson/Jessica Alba dating rumors immediately!

The team can win awards, Russell can stand next to a beautiful woman, but one man stole the show at the Nokia Theater. You know exactly who I'm talking about. The man, the myth, the legend, Marshawn Lynch.
There are millions of people I'd rather see hosting the #ESPYS2014 than Drake, but none more than Marshawn Lynch! pic.twitter.com/5SCvmNv9uw

This picture is everything. Just when I thought his antics couldn't get any better, he shows up to the ESPYs in a t-shirt and a beanie not giving a damn. Because Marshawn Lynch is a grown-ass man doing grown-ass man things.
