Colt Lyerla (TE, Oregon) vs Stanford « Seahawks Draft Blog
Very intriguing player. Took some snaps at running back in 2012. 6-5 and could add more muscle without losing any of his speed. In the modern NFL you need a tight end that can line up pretty much anywhere. Lyerla might be the only tight end who can sit in the backfield as a blocker, receiver, full back or runner. I’d like to see Oregon feed him the ball more in 2013, but he’s right near the top of the list of players I’m watching this year.

Talking defense with Dan Quinn | Seahawks Blog | Seattle Times
Asked who stood out, Quinn said: “Really I thought, from the down lineman, that Jordan Hill and Benson Mayowa were two guys that really jumped out on film in terms of making some plays that said ‘Okay, they’re really challenging for some more play time.’ I thought that John Lotulelei had a nice game both on special teams and on defense. He played fast. Those were kind of the young guys that we saw. And then, there’s no new guys in our secondary, but there’s some new guys that haven’t played a lot like DeShawn Shead and some other guys that did a good job. Like I said there’s no rookies in that group, but a bunch of guys did well out there.”

A New Flavor in the Desert | The MMQB with Peter King
1. I think my goal is to be an MVP of the league. I am the top cornerback in the game, and now that Bruce Arians is giving me the opportunity to play offense and special teams, I'll have the best opportunity to capture that goal and dream of mine. 2. I think my second favorite sport is golf.
