This article is not about DeSean Jackson’s alleged gang connections. The LAPD does not know if Jackson is involved in gang activity, so neither do I and neither do you. He has never been a suspect in any major crime or charged with anything more serious than possession of weed, so his criminal record is roughly equivalent to 3/4th of my friends. And if he is involved with the Crips, well, he is wearing red from now on. How does that work? Is there a “burgundy” exception? Blue long-johns under the uniform? I do not know, or care.
