— It’s no secret the Seahawks are hoping for a lot more this season from Christine Michael, their first pick in the 2013 draft (in the second round, after the first round pick went to Minnesota for Percy Harvin). And this ESPN.com story, which details the decline of running backs after the age of 27, is one reason why. Marshawn Lynch turns 28 on April 22, and while no one is predicting his imminent demise, the history of NFL RBs is what it is. And that means the Seahawks will need to find out this season just what they have in Michael, if not so much for the 2014 season but for the seasons beyond.
