LT Joe Staley signed a 6 year contract worth $44,650,000 with the San Francisco 49ers on July 18, 2014. The contract contains two option years in 2018 and 2019. Those option years must be exercised during the�2015 and 2016 League Year at a cost of $6 million and $4 million respectively. In each year of the contract Staley is eligible for $500,000 roster bonuses, which are paid out for each game in which he is active, as well as annual $200,000 workout bonuses. His option years also contain contract escalators based on performance. The base salaries of the contract are $2,700,000 (2014), $4,500,000(2015), $5,400,000(2016), $8,250,000(2017), $4,800,000(2017), and $4,800,000(2018).
