With NFL Standings across divisions all (almost) wrapped up, the Seahawks' 2014 opponent schedule is now set. With a Division Championship, a tough Division Champion schedule follows the subsequent year.
In addition to their standard NFC West foes, Seattle will host the Cowboyts, the Giants, the Broncos, the Raiders, and the Packers. They go on the road to face the Eagles, Redskins, Chiefs, Chargers, and Panthers.
Notables-
Home:
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders
Green Bay Packers
Arizona Cardinals
San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis Rams
A tough draw at first blush, with Denver and Green Bay consistently high level teams and both likely to still have Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, respectively. The Cowboys have been a little up and down the past two seasons but I still believe Tony Romo is a very high level signal caller, so that's always a wildcard. The Raiders and Giants were bad this year, so those games look better on paper, but you know the NFL.
Away:
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers
Carolina Panthers
Arizona Cardinals
San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis Rams
Games at Kansas City, Carolina, and Philly. Damn! Going to be a fun, tough road schedule. The Chargers are the wildcard, and with Phillip Rivers at the helm, are always dangerous. The Redskins will likely be under new leadership, but FedEx Field... well, you know.
