Here's an interview that Chris Meyers conducted with Pete Carroll back when Carroll was the coach at USC. It's from 2005, right before Pete was trying to guide his Trojans to a third straight National Championship (they split with LSU in 2003, then were #1 for the entire 2004 season and beat the Oklahoma Sooners 55-19 to win the repeat title). Following this interview, Carroll's Trojans went on to finish 12-0 and lost in the classic BCS Championship Game 41-38 to Vince Young's Texas team. Regardless, it's interesting to hear Carroll talk about maintaining that championship mindset and it's applicable to his team today.
